Test day car hire from £150*
Picked up 1 hour before test, dropped home after test
*FOR NON-LOCAL TEST CENTRES & BESPOKE ARRANGEMENTS
Additional fees will be added in multiples of £20 to cover extended travel time for pick-up and drop-off. Not all pick-up areas have a test centre within the base price range. The final price is determined by the total amount of time required in the instructor’s diary. Weekend tests carry an additional £20 surcharge above the stated rates, making the minimum weekend car hire fee £170.
From time to time, bespoke test day packages may be arranged to accommodate scheduling overlaps and avoid test cancellations. These bespoke arrangements involve meeting your instructor directly on-site at the test centre with the vehicle pre-positioned for you. Depending on schedule constraints, pre-test preparation may include a short warm-up drive or a stationary pre-test briefing and vehicle handover. Because dual-control vehicle logistics, commercial test insurance, and the instructor’s reserved availability are fully dedicated to your booking, bespoke arrangements are charged at the full standard car hire package rate (or higher if additional travel or diary time applies). All arrangements will be discussed and agreed with you in advance.
Please confirm with your instructor before booking your driving test
Finding the right driving school involves more than just looking for the cheapest lessons. While the cost is an important factor, it’s just one piece of the puzzle. At our driving school, we understand this, and we’ve set our prices to be fair and competitive. Our goal is to provide exceptional value, balancing affordability with high-quality instruction.
We pride ourselves on having highly qualified instructors who are patient and committed to helping you become a confident and safe driver for life. Beyond just passing your test, we teach you skills that are essential for real-world driving. When you choose a driving school, you should also consider things like their pass rate, the availability of lessons, and the flexibility they offer in scheduling.
Ultimately, the cheapest lesson isn’t always the best value. A slightly more expensive lesson with a great instructor who helps you pass faster could save you money in the long run. We aim to be a driving school that offers excellent value, ensuring you get the best possible start to your driving journey.
