HOW MANY LESSONS DOES IT TAKE TO LEARN TO DRIVE?
Well this is the question we get asked most, and usually within minutes of meeting someone for the first time, but quite simply it is an impossible question to answer. Learning to drive is a very personal experience and no two learners will ever have the exact same learning experience.
The current national statistics suggest that from beginning to end, an average driver will to take 45 hours professional tuition and an additional 20 hours private practice.
At Wowdrive, we have had clients who have passed their test well within these numbers, but also clients who have taken longer. But we guarantee a personal experience based around your strengths and weaknesses. An automatic learner in Bermondsey will have their lessons structured differently to a manual learner in Charlton for example.
Different factors go towards the time it will take you to learn to drive. A good nights sleep vs a restless night could lead to a totally different level of productivity if your lesson is early in the morning. Working from home, shutting your laptop at 5pm and being in the car at 5:01pm could mean you haven’t quite switched off from your hectic day before you begin your lesson that afternoon. All of these outside factors will always have a knock on effect to your driving lessons. Hey, we are all human after all, but playing to you own strengths will certainly help you stay as close to your own learning potential as possible.
